In 1991, Baldinger Architectural Lighting selected Robert A. M. Stern Architects to design a collection of light fixtures. Memories of archetypal classical motifs such as the Greek key pattern and the voluptuous curves of Greek vessels such as the kylix resonate throughout this collection of pendant fixtures and sconces. We worked with Baldinger again in 2003 to design a series of library-inspired light fixtures. These fixtures were designed to complement the streamlined classicism of our architectural design for libraries and incorporate modern technology, such as electrical and networking connections, without sacrificing their timeless beauty.
