This jewelry, designed as part of the Architects for Acme collection, consists of cloisonne enamel and silver pieces which are Classical in their inspiration, relating to patterns that have been developed over the past few years by this office for various decorative objects, such as china and carpets. The Swag and Jobot designs derive from traditional drapery motifs; Majestic uses the clasp and buckle that ornaments the plates of the same name designed for Swid-Powell; and San Remo interprets the tower silhouette of the notable apartment house on Central Park West in New York.
