Preston J. Gumberich has been with Robert A.M. Stern Architects since 1987 and has been a Partner in the firm since 2008. He has been responsible for design and construction documents as well as coordination of consultant services and field supervision. .
Mr. Gumberich's projects include a library in East Hampton, New York; the Ohrstrom Library at the St. Paul's School; the Center for Jewish Life at Princeton University; the William Gates Computer Science Building at Stanford University; the Moore Psychology Building at Dartmouth College; the K.C. Irving Environmental Science Centre and Harriet Irving Botanical Gardens at Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, Canada; the McNeil Center for Early American Studies at the University of Pennsylvania; Joan and Sanford Weill Hall for the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan; and the Richard T. Farmer School of Business Building at Miami University.
Mr. Gumberich's current projects include Bavaro Hall for the Curry School of Education at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia; the New College House at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania; the North Quad Residential and Academic Complex at the University of Michigan; and the Seidman College of Business at Grand Valley State University.
Mr. Gumberich received both his Bachelor of Arts and his Masters in Architecture degrees from Columbia University. He is a registered architect in the State of New York and other jurisdictions, and a member of the American Institute of Architects and the Society of College and University Planning.
